Shopping in London

London is a great place to visit for shopping, there are some very well known shopping districts including Oxford Street, Regent Street, Knightsbridge and Covent Garden to name a few and you’ll be sure you can easily lose a day wondering around these famous sites.

But as well as these famous swanky shopping sites there are also some very well known and much loved markets including Borough Market, Brick Lane, Portobello Road and for those of you who love flowers there’s always Maltby Street Market near to London Bridge.

Food & Drink

London has often been referred to as the restaurant capital of the world. There are dozens of 1, 2 and 3 Michelin Star restaurants dotted all over the capital including the World famous Ritz in Mayfair and Ellory and Pidgin in Hackney to name a few.

London is also renowned for it’s famous pubs and literally has thousands ranging from traditional locals to the gastronomic ultra modern and some of them haven’t changed much in hundreds of years. You will also find some great cafe’s, some of which have been around for over a hundred years and offer an old school charm and unrivalled atmosphere.

Attractions

If you’re visiting London for a day or more then getting around to see all the main attractions is a must. Take in the sights of Buckingham Palace, Nelsons Column in Trafalger Square, visit the houses of parliament and make sure you go for a ride on the iconic London Eye.
