TRAINEE COACH DRIVER

Coach driving is an enjoyable, varied and well paid profession. At Cruisers you will join a small friendly team driving coaches from our modern fleet undertaking good quality work with no two days the same. As this is a hospitality industry it will involve working some weekends and evenings but the rewards are seeing new places and meeting new people every week.

We will review your application and then invite you for an interview. Following this we will send you for an assessment at the driver training school. If you are successful at this stage, we will invite you for a second interview where the conditions and offer of full training will be explained.

Before the process can commence you will need to obtain the following but every assistance will be given, including providing advice and the relevant forms :-

• PCV Medical
• PCV Provisional licence
• PCV theory tests (3 tests, multiple Choice, Hazard perception & CPC case studies), which can be completed on line.
• A DBS Check with Surrey County Council

When accepted you will attend a professional PCV driving school who will provide you with 3 – 6 days of training, the practical driving test and the module 4 driver CPC test for which Cruisers will pay.

We ask that:-

You will have held a full UK car driving licence for 2 years and have no more than 3 penalty points.

• You will have held a full UK car driving licence for 2 years.

• You will have no pending motoring convictions at the time of application.
