Terms & Conditions of hire – Coaches

PAYMENT TERMS

Payment may be made by personal debit card or bank transfer quoting the invoice number, but this payment must be received at least twenty one days prior to the date of hire. If booking less than twenty one days prior to date of hire, full payment is required immediately. Banking fees for international transfers must be added to your remittance.
A 10% deposit may be requested at time of booking for some hires.
Clients who have accounts with Cruisers Limited must send confirmation of their requirements by letter or email, however if the hire is cancelled within twenty one days of the departure the full charge will still be due.

BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS

Any variation required with respect to the initial booking must be made in writing and agreed in writing by Cruisers.
The full hire charge is payable if cancellation takes place less than twenty one days before the date of hire. Prior to this there is no cancellation fee except in the case of extended hires /tours when alternative terms may apply.

THE DAY OF HIRE

Whilst every effort will be made to operate the hire according to the route and times as per confirmation, Cruisers Limited cannot be held responsible in the event of delays which are out of their control.

There can be no variation to the times or route in the agreed booking details, nor will the vehicle be available between the outward set down and return pick up unless agreed and confirmed by Cruisers Limited in advance of the date of hire. Cruisers Limited strictly adhere to driver’s hours regulations and in order to ensure compliance will only wait a maximum of 15 minutes after the departure times agreed in your booking. Cruisers Limited will accept no responsibility for any loss or inconvenience if passengers are left as a result.

Cruisers Limited cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to luggage or personal possessions. Passengers must remain seated, wearing their seat belts, whilst the vehicle is in motion.

Any onboard facilities are provided without liability, and Cruisers Limited are not responsible for any claim so related.

Cruisers Limited take every care to provide a vehicle in first class order. We ask passengers to respect our vehicles for their comfort and safety. Cruisers will not be responsible for providing child seats.

If the pick up is on private property it is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that, if the site has camera restricted parking the controlling agency is informed. Any fines that this Company incurs will be recharged to the hirer.

Smoking, vaping, and the use of, and or carriage of drugs is strictly prohibited.

Passengers are requested not to consume food on our vehicles unless specifically agreed in advance by Cruisers Limited. No glass receptacles at any time.

The hirer is responsible for the actions of all passengers throughout the period of hire whether or not the hirer is travelling with the party. If the hirer is not travelling a named representative must be nominated and this Company informed of such before the date of travel. A charge will be made for cleaning, repair and/or replacement of any item, surface, accessory, or vehicle component that is damaged, broken, defaced or soiled as a result of misconduct of the passengers. Where passengers leave a coach in a condition unfit for immediate further service a minimum charge of £90 for cleaning will be levied to the hirer.

Additional charges may be debited from the payment debit / credit card.
