Shopping in Portsmouth
A shopping trip to Portsmouth would not be complete without spending a few hours in Gunwharf Quays shopping centre.
You’ll find all the usual High Street brands here and with much of the main Plaza under cover it’s a great place to be even if the sun isn’t shining, a true all weather destination. With it’s award winning car park and superb transport links this place really puts Portsmouth on the map.
In the City centre itself, Commercial Road is also a draw for day trippers as well as the slightly older Cascade Shopping Centre which gives access to the High Street. For those getting a little weary the close by Victoria Park offers the chance to get away from the hustle and bustle.

If fine dining is what you are looking for then we can highly recommend, along with quite a few others on TripAdvisor, that you visit Restaurant 27 and Montparnasse. Both are located just a few minutes walk from Portsmouth’s stunning seafront and both boast a TripAdvisor certificate of excellence and a Michelin recommendation between them.
The aforementioned Gunwharf Quays shopping centre is home to some typical high street names including, Café Rouge, Jamie’s Italian, Zizzi, and Wagamama as well as a a few traditional pubs and cafes.

Attractions
